Indications for spa treatment

Our spa specializes in the treatment and prevention of musculoskeletal diseases, conditions after surgeries and injuries, chronic rheumatic diseases, some civilization diseases, occupational diseases, as well as gynecological and skin diseases, including psoriasis.

The most common diagnoses of visitors to our thermal spas include:

Indication list Group “A”

Accommodation, food and treatment are covered by health insurance.
Allowed indications in patients over 18 years of age: I/1, III/3,5,8,11, IV/4, VI/1,3,5,6,8,9,10, VII/2,4,10, X/3,4, XI/3.

Indication list Group “B”

Treatment is covered by the health insurance company, while food and accommodation are paid for by the insured person themselves.
Allowed indications in patients over 18 years of age: III/1,7,9,10,12 IV/1,2,3 VI/2,4,7,11,12,13 VII/1,3,5,6,7,8,9 X/5 XI/1,2,4,5 XII/2,3,4,7,8.

In degenerative and inflammatory diseases of the musculoskeletal system, the goal is to relieve pain, maintain or increase range of motion, improve muscle strength and adjust muscle balance, prevent deformities, contractures and loss of muscle mass, stop or slow down the progression of the disease, improve functional and work capacity, delay disability and reduce the consumption of anti-inflammatory drugs and analgesics.

Spa treatment for neurological diseases includes practically all neurological diseases with the exception of epilepsy and seizure disorders. The general indication for spa treatment is to improve mobility and alleviate pain and maintain a sustainable quality of life in old age. The positive effect of spa treatment on the psyche of patients is important.

The aim of spa treatment after injuries and operations on the musculoskeletal system is mainly to reduce pain and muscle spasms, improve the range of motion through targeted rehabilitation treatment, eliminate pathological movement stereotypes caused by long immobilization and sparing of the painful limb or spine, prevent incorrect movement habits, practice self-care activities, and accelerate return to work and improve the quality of life.
