The TOP tourist product of 2018 “Spa in the region” attracted thousands of visitors.

The seventh year of the popular event of the company Kúpele Trenčianske Teplice, a.s. ended successfully again. Thanks to the cooperation with the towns and cities of the Trenčín region, the effects of the unique medicinal water have been made available to a growing number of visitors from the surrounding area, even in the winter.

The success of the popular product was also recognized by the jury of the Regional Tourism Organization of the Trenčín Region at the beginning of 2019. The spa in the region thus became the “TOP tourist product” of the Trenčín region over the past year.

From December 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019, residents of a record number of 66 towns and villages in the region enjoyed the exceptional effects of water at Kúpele Trenčianske Teplice , at significantly discounted prices (50% discount on thermal pools and 30% discount on The Grand pool ).

The recently completed project achieved record attendance (12,077, 171 more than last year).

“We are pleased with the public’s unwavering interest in the Spas in the region, one of our TOP products of the winter season, as well as the fact that they did not escape the attention of the KOCR Trenčín region expert committee, which honored them with the award for the best tourist product.”

Despite the slower start of the event, we can see an increasing trend in its attendance from year to year. We believe that we will be able to maintain this positive trend in the next winter season and we will be able to provide the services of our Spa to other new visitors, ” said Michal Vojtáš, general director of the Trenčianske Teplice Spa.

The growing demands of guests have led the Spa to constantly increase the comfort of the services provided, which is confirmed by an increasing number of visitors every year. In recent years, investments have been made in the reconstruction of spa hotels, treatment areas, and the renovation of the facade of the historic mansion building.

The Trenčianske Teplice Spa is one of the oldest and most visited spas in Slovakia. Its exceptional location in direct contact with nature and the presence of the Spa Park, recently enriched with 60 new trees, enhance the spa relaxation and have a positive effect not only on the body but also on the soul of every visitor.
