On the 28th. On February 2022, we successfully completed the 9 year of the “Spa in the region” project. Despite ongoing anti-pandemic measures, this year was again successful, as 61 cities and municipalities participated.

Since the now 5-year-old concept of souvenir banknotes spread from France to Slovakia in 2018, it has been gaining more and more popularity in our region. Its main purpose is to support attractive tourist destinations and promote the cultural or natural heritage of European countries.

For the eighth time, the Trenčianske Teplice Spa evaluated the success of the popular “Spa in the Region” project, within which residents of the Trenčianske Teplice region could take advantage of a 50% discount on entrance to thermal pools during the winter period.

The seventh year of the popular event of the company Kúpele Trenčianske Teplice, a.s. ended successfully again. Thanks to cooperation with the municipalities and towns of the Trenčín region, the effects of the unique healing water have been made available to a growing number of visitors from the surrounding area even in the winter.

The Trenčianske Teplice Spa Mansion got a new look. In the immediate vicinity of rare thermal springs, it was built around 1740 according to Italian Renaissance models by Count Jozef Illesházy, who at that time partly used it himself and partly lent it to spa guests.

Kúpele Trenčianske Teplice, a.s. in cooperation with the City of Trenčianske Teplice, is bringing the popular “Spa in the Region” project for the seventh time, within which residents of the Trenčianske Teplice region will be able to take advantage of up to 50% discounts on entrance to thermal pools during the winter period.

A real treat will take visitors to one of the most popular spas in Slovakia. Kúpele Trenčianske Teplice, a.s. has decided to showcase the beauty of its historical gem – the Hammam relaxation room, on the occasion of its 130th anniversary. to commemorate the anniversary of its construction by issuing its own zero euro banknote.

“Spa in the Region” is a successful and long-term project that, thanks to the cooperation of the city management of Trenčianske Teplice and the Trenčianske Teplice Spa, deepens the importance of mutual cooperation. This year, 61 towns and municipalities of the Trenčín Region participated in the project, and it was once again supported by the partner town of Trenčianske Teplice – Vsetín.
